LAUNDE ABBEY - MINISTERS SUMMER SCHOOL 2009

A large group of the ministers of the synod met for their annual school at Launde Abbey in June. They were joined by Bishop Probal Dutta and three other presbyters from the church of North India's Diocese of Durgapur who were in the synod as part of our world church link programme. One of the visitors Revd Swagata Das is the first female presbyter in that diocese and her training has been sponsored by the synod's churches.
